mu and mu4e must have the same version . at least debian/sid has the latest (released) version. -

well, give it a try! it's not as big and mature as gnus, but it works well for me and others. -

@cwebber I've been using mu4e for about a month now; it does have it's quirks (it likes to destroy all other emacs windows), but I'm happy. -

@duck1123 I use the Keyboard & Mouse pref pane to remap Command to Option, and xmodmap to map Option to Meta in X11. !emacs #ssh #osx -

!emacs over #ssh in #osx means living in constant fear of not hitting escape to kill-ring-save (ie. copy) and closing the whole window.
