had #pulseaudio problems in !emacs #emms via #mplayer today: emms-volume-lower/-raise killed sound. playing another file reactivated sound. -

@wgreenhouse context switching is a problem, yes… that’s why my small OLPC runs X when I want to do serious work - only with emacs :) -

@arnebab the other problem is that I don't exactly type properly, so I often reach capslock with my pinky anyway. :S -

@arnebab I was never able to get used to that binding. I think it's the context switching, having it in X but not in console. -
