Really, these days #XFCE seems much more mature than #MATE Also, #XFCE have much more developers than #MATE -

You mean !Debian Stable? Thats not my cup of coffee. I have !Ubuntu 12.04 if I want stable SW. I'm actually looking for good rolling release -

@redi44 How about plain !Debian with #XFCE ? Since u seem to like Gtk based desktop. I prefer !KDE / Debian
