@psquid, ISTR Guido's explaination basically being that #Python has tuples 'cause, if you mash your keys up, how do you get into your house?
-
OFFS—what idiot decided that following a link to a specific comment on #Slashdot should take the user anywhere but *that* comment!?
-
@ekaia, #photos of my !Debian #cake (I did the red swirl+text, after removing some other stuff): http://ur1.ca/37r3c http://ur1.ca/37r3d
-
@motters, I've been looking at building a new #media-server w/ a !plugcomputer + USB #audio adaptor. Wonder how good DreamPlug's audio is...
-
Apparently, #Git is the preferred #DVCS of #lolcats: http://lol.whygitisbetterthanx.com/
-
@kimqed, it seems like there are way too many people with this perspective, (unwittingly) hurting !education: http://ur1.ca/36vze
-
@ekaia, my !debian #cake is #open-source, so I reused existing components; even forwent building from source—bought a prefab, hacked deco :)
-
@jaimesilva, I'd find it easier to accept the `spacefun is childish/unprofessional' claims if not for all of those Windows XP deployments ;)
-
Gonna go make my !Debian #release-party #cake, now (yeah, it's late—but it's Debian: "ready when it's ready"; wouldn't want a buggy cake...)
-
@debian, why is there no #screenshot of Squeeze on the !Debian homepage, as there was for Lenny? How do I answer, `what does it look like'?
-
@eff, I'd totally go to your #birthday #party and buy you a drink, if I weren't on the far side of the country w/ #TSA standing between us.
-
Finally watching Tod Browning's !movie, `Freaks'. Fantastic: http://www.archive.org/details/freaks1932
-
Via @creativecommons: $2 billion fund available for open !education in the #USA: https://creativecommons.org/weblog/entry/26281
-
@arnebab, `modified !GPL for postcard !art' seems `just like !CC By-SA, except incompatible with the most popular !FreeCulture art license'☹
-
@trashheap, I think the `non-US' !FreeRunner is compatible with T-Mobile in the US. Not sure about AT&T (which gave me other problems...)
-
@vinc17, #Ubuntu does #security updates, but not for universe or multiverse: http://ur1.ca/349it
-
@vinc17, thank you for participating and helping make Debian awesome :)
-
@vinc17, people like, e.g. #Ubuntu because they're `more up-to-date', but their packages go entire cycles without even security updates....
-
@vinc17, `since aug/sep' doesn't seem like all /that/ long, all things considered—I've seen *much* worse, both in Debian and elsewhere ☺
-
@vinc17, maintainers do sometimes go silent on some bugs for long periods—especially leading up to a release. Upstreams, too—I'm guilty....
