Oh, the last "72" in "(N/72)**2 * 72" is the inherent size of the input SVG in points, unless the SVG's inherent size is in pixels, in which case #ImageMagick does the completely different thing that you'd actually expect. !TIL
-
!TIL that #ImageMagick's "-density N" option actually means "(N/72)**2 * 72 DPI" when rasterising SVGs (except for a #singularity when N=72)
-
Um, someone write me a program to make me a #logo for the !generative group....
-
status.hackerposse.com now hosting a !fedgroup for !generative art and stuff.

Using #GNUSocial to follow @kfogel on #twitter because I can't follow him on identi.ca anymore. What's wrong with this picture?
-
I guess distributed cache coherency is a tough problem even when the platform is #thinking-meat + tablenet.
-
It seems like, whenever there are more than ~6–10 people at a dining-table, conversation splits and people start missing parts of `it'.
-
Maybe @bobjonkman's surprisement should actually be surprising; this perfectly mimics what happens #IRL: http://sn.jonkman.ca/notice/107854
-
Maybe this #netsplit/`thread #fragmentation' thing in #distributed social networking is just a #social issue: people don't ♻-share enough.
-
~1 more day of 3:1 $-match for archive.org; @kfogel's right when he says "give. There are few more obvious calls on the Internet right now!"
-
Following @kfogel's lead, I just donated $200 to archive.org—which really means $800 to The Internet Archive: http://status.hackerposse.com/url/4463

"All those cool kids that go to clubs and have fun. They just haven't discovered reverse engineering yet." - @natashenka at #30c3 #hall1
-
I like that kind of thinkin'! To quote Epic Meal Time: "BREAKFAST. WAKE THE F*CK UP!"
-
Aha--got it. Need a double-octalthorpe delimiter between address and content when sending through the #SMS gateway.
