@vinc17, if you can help me figure out how to reproduce the bug, I can try re-opening and corroborating it after release.
-
idem, @vinc17? If you want to waste your breath `telling the famer's pigs their breath stinks', go for it. But y'r broadcasting—want help?
-
@turin, a `stable platform' is one that doesn't shift out from under you. Some need that. Some don't. You know which you are, so who cares?☺
-
@vinc17, like @gomerx said: it works better when you get involved. If you want something done, don't just whinge, #do-something about it.
-
@arnebab, `findability' is a good point—thanks. Interestingly, that can actually feed into the #pragmatic angle on !FreeCulture, I think.
-
@arnebab, I want people to actually be able to use my work on #postcards.
-
@arnebab, there's also not nearly as much disconnect between source & `compiled form' for many !art forms as there is for #software.
-
@arnebab, requiring the license be distributed along with all prints of a graphic is prohibitive for publishing in many non-digital media.
-
@arnebab, I've been considering converting the !FoxtrotGPS logo from GPL to CC-By-SA specifically for that reason; but logos are adverts....
-
@arnebab, I'll allow distribution with GPL'd code; though I'm not sure I actually need to say that explicitly. Let me know if it's a problem
-
@arnebab, !CC By-SA seems a better bet for artwork; I considered dualing w/ !GPL, seems like a can of worms—forks might not be recombinable.

Hilarious: Amazon suggests that I tell the publisher of `Ishihara's tests for !colourblindness' that I want to see it on the Kindle....
