Every time I hear about !OStatus , I find myself trying to figure out whether normal people would hear it as "o'status" or "oh! status!"....

@flattr@identi.ca , why's Moneybookers give me a `Verified by Visa' password-prompt from a company I've never heard of (not Visa!), who's not mentioned in Visa's docs, and whose website (arcot.com ) is in DNS as 127.0.0.1 ?

Oh, I see: repo-names on #Gitorious need to be globally unique. I guess the `user→project→repo' indirection exists just to be a #PITA , then?
I don't get #gitorious ' `user→project→repo→branch' layering: why are multiple #git *repostories* *per project* *per developer* useful?

Conversation w/Josh: Me: How many internet sites do you own? Josh: That's like asking how many pairs of socks you have.
@jpope , @parlementum : note the caveat in !StatusNet #bug 3540 comment №4—pro'ly also want this: http://status.net/open-source/issues/3638
Did you remember to restart any StatusNet daemons you have running?
If it works, !vivalafederation members other than you and me should get a copy of this notice.
@jpope , the group-federation fix needs to be applied to the server hosting the group—fixing micro.jpope.org would fix !vivalafederation ☺
I think I have a fix for !StatusNet 's failure to pass group-posts between !feds : http://status.net/open-source/issues/3540
!q "Telling someone who trusts you that you're giving them medicine, when you know you’re not, because you want their money, isn’t just lying--it’s like an example you’d make up if you had to illustrate for a child why lying is wrong." http://m.xkcd.com/971/
What kind of a name is "Evite" for a party-planning invitation/RSVP site, anyway? Doesn't "evite" mean "shun or avoid"?
!StatusNet needs an #Evite plugin, such that people would need to join a StatusNet site in order to RSVP to their StatusNet-using friends' party-invitations....
Saw the new Batman movie. Fun, but http://www.tor.com/blogs/2011/01/batman-plutocrat also more true than ever.
