Trying to remember how the phrase "data tectonics" g ot into my head. I think I was trying to come up with an acronym for something the other day, but can't remember what.
I really want to list "data tectonics" as skill on my résumé.

Trying to fully discharge my laptop #battery. Down near the `critical level'..., watching the time-estimate *rise*.... Yay #batteries....
I have liked using this program to track #meteor showers: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/Orrery#Meteor_Showers https://github.com/kenyoung/orrery
@steve , maybe your fireball was one of the Lambda Boötids? http://status.hackerposse.com/url/4861
American #Meteor Society has a pretty awesome #fireball report/tracking system: http://status.hackerposse.com/url/4860 !astronomia
@steve Actually, I take it back: looks like your #fireball was this one w/ 67 reports so far: http://www.amsmeteors.org/fireball_event/2014/264
@steve , American #Meteor Society has 8 reports for that `TX/OK #fireball ', so far; really nice #visualization of the data: http://www.amsmeteors.org/fireball_event/2014/261

Watching the garbage truck with @nanohacker . Garbage trucks are actually pretty awesome.
Yay—5.5 hours of sleep....
Is Google #ngrams effective for #Russian ? https://books.google.com/ngrams
#NERVES. Gah. But I just had a positive social interaction *and* got to fix something—so now I feel better enough to go back to bed....

If I ask translate.google.com to Russianise "Persian cucumbers" and then put the result into images.google.com , I do indeed get paisleys....
